White tuna or albacore tuna or Bonito del Norte (Thunnus alalunga) is caught with rods, one by one, by the Getaria fleet, during the summer campaign.

It is a blue fish and its flesh is soft in texture, delicate in taste and high in nutritional value, thanks to its richness in omega 3 fatty acids. Ideal to accompany salads, pintxos and other starters.

These small artisanal sardines are made in the port of Getaria in the southern Basque Country.
