SITUATION
The HERRI MINA estate, owned by Jean-Claude Berrouet, also an oenologist and winemaker in the Libournais, is located in the commune of Ispourre. This mountain vineyard, which overlooks the town of St Jean Pied de Port at a height of 300 metres, sees its vines grow in red sandstone soil. The area under cultivation represents 1.9 hectares and has been cultivated for 5 years using biodynamic methods. Jean Brana is responsible for the harvest and vinification and works in sustainable agriculture and High Environmental Value certification.
