ORIGIN OF KINTOA
The Basque Pig breed is one of the oldest in Europe. Despite more than 800 years of history, the traditional breeding of this breed almost died out in the early 1980s, scattered across the Pyrenees, there were only a few proud and valiant representatives of this emblematic breed left... That's without counting on a handful of breeders attached to their culture and their territory, passionate about breeding and gastronomy, who joined forces to revive the strain in its native land of Kintoa.
