KINTOA AOP Basque pork
Net weight: 180g
Kintoa pâté is part of the tradition of Basque specialties.
It is enjoyed as a morning and afternoon snack, as an aperitif or starter with a good country bread with a well-cooked crust accompanied by a good Rioja Crianza or an Irouleguy.
ORIGIN OF KINTOA PORK
The Kintoa pig is a black Basque pig raised in accordance with the specifications of the AOP, AOC Kintoa. Christian Aguerre raises his pigs outdoors on his farm in Itxassou. The pigs' diet is a clever mix of pasture and other forest delicacies, and a supplement with wheat, corn, barley, rapeseed and sunflower meal.
