Artisanal patxaran from the province of Gipuzkoa produced in Errenteria between San Sebastian and Irun.
History of Patxaran Olañeta:
At the beginning of July 1936, a nephew of José Luis Olañeta Múgica, Pedro Echeverría Olañeta, owner of a farm in Ubera (Elgeta), gave him some sloes harvested in the mountains of Intxortas (Gipuzkoa), telling him about their properties.
