THE STORY BEHIND THIS WINE:
After her work experience at the Yalumba winery (Australia), Adriana Ochoa fell in love with Viognier. When she returned home, she planted a small plot of Viognier, which grows beautifully in the vineyard at Traibuenas.
THE WINE:
8A Uvadoble is a white wine made from a blend of two grape varieties beginning with V: Viognier and Viura. Hence the name: Uvadoble (Double Grape). The French-origin Viognier and the Viura are very popular and well-suited to our climate and soil in Traibuenas, as evidenced by this dry white wine with fruity and floral aromas. The Viura portion makes the wine fresher.

Color
Greenish yellow, which testifies to its youth.
Nose
Aromas of stone fruits (peach, apricot) and ripe pear, with floral notes.
Palate
An explosion of fresh, sweet fruit, with perfect structure.
Food and wine pairing
Grilled white fish and white meat. Perfect with paella, risottos, and pasta dishes, with vegetables and salads, or as an aperitif.

Ochoa 8A Blanca UVADOBLE is a wine that has been aged on its lees for 6 months, which gives it good volume on the palate and fruity and floral aromas.
TERROIR
The vines used to produce the OCHOA 8A Blanca UVADOBLE are grown on the Finca La Milla plot.
LOCATION
Finca La Milla: this part of the estate covers 45 hectares with the cultivation of Moscatel, Viura, Chardonnay, and Merlot grape varieties, as well as olive trees. The clay-limestone soil is ideal for white grapes and for the red Merlot variety, which adapts wonderfully to the rockier areas, providing minerality.
