Nose
Complex: citrus fruits, lychees, and white-fleshed fruits.
Palate
Aromatic, with volume, nice balance, and a tonic finish.
Grape varieties and aging
Gros Manseng 70%, Petit Manseng 20%, Petit Courbu 10%. Hand-harvested, pressed upon receipt, cold settling (4-5°C) for 24 to 36 hours, 20-day fermentation, then aged on lees in vats to preserve freshness. Bottled in April.

LOCATION
The HERRI MINA estate, owned by Jean-Claude Berrouet, also an oenologist and winegrower in the Libournais region, is located in the town of Ispoure. This mountain vineyard, overlooking the town of Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port at an altitude of 300 meters, has vines growing in red sandstone soil. The cultivated surface area is 1.9 hectares and was farmed using biodynamic methods for 5 years. Jean Brana manages the harvest and winemaking, working in sustainable agriculture with High Environmental Value certification.
